1) Using Evacuated Tube System
V66 has 30 Tubes which has almost double the surface area compared to a regular Flat Panel Solar. Tested to be able to work on rainy days as long as there is sunlight and not completely dark sky.
2) Less Heat Loss
With higher efficiency of the tubes to absorb the radiation from the sun, we will need to retain the heat to prevent heat loss. V66 Evacuated tubes are made of two-layer glass with vacuum in between the layers. The vacuum is similar to thermos flask that we use to keep water hot, vacuum is a great insulator to retain heat.
3) Multiple Riser
V66 Solar comes with 30 Evacuated tubes that directly heats up the water from the bottom of the tank, so water in the tank gets heated up faster and more evenly.
1) 316 grade stainless steel inner tank.
316 contains a minimum 2.0% molybdenum which makes it much more corrosion resistant than 304. As water contains chlorine and other harmful contaminants, to reduce the risk of corrosion, V66 Solar is using 316 grade steel, that is used for marine industry, highly resistant against corrosion.
2) Seal Connection System or Close Loop System.
Majority brands in Malaysia are using Wet Tube or Water in Tube, whereby the tubes are connected directly to the tank and water flow into the tubes. The common problems with this system is low durability and high water leaking issues. Connection between tubes and tanks are secured using silicone seal that are prone to deteriorate and leak over time due to the heat. Moreover, if one of the tubes break, hot water from the tank will leak out and the solar water heater is totally not usable. Aquasolar V66 on the other hand is using a more advance tube called HEAT PIPE, heat is transferred through the copper pipe in the tubes and there is no water flowing into the tube, hence ZERO Leakage tubes.
